Carter Finally Gets It 8

For this blog I am going to talk about what makes this book so addicting to read. I couldn't put this book down, because it was so fun to read. I think what makes this book so addicting is the great story, the humor, and that it reminds us all of highschool.

The story has a fast pace and never gets boring. That was a big reason why I couldn't stop reading. Also, the story is always funny which helps the story move faster. I kept wanting to read more to find out what funny thing was going to happen next. Finally, it reminds us all of our highschool experiance. Like I mentioned in one of my previous blogs, everyone can relate to Carter in some way.

That is why this book was so addicting to read. I was never bored while reading this book and didn't realize how long I had been reading it. It also had a bunch of laugh out loud moments. It wasn't rare for me to break out in laughter while reading this book. It was a great book and I am happy to have chose it.

Carter Finally Gets It 7

For this blog, I am going to talk about my favorite part of the book. I think that it was one of the funniest parts of the book and it was really well written. I think that it fit really well into the story and it helped advance the story.

My favorite part of the book was when Carter got moved up to varsity kicker on the football team. I liked it because I thought it was going to be a good thing happeneing to Carter for the first time. At his practice he hit the snapper both time right in the butt. I thought it was really funny. I think that the author wanted people to think that Carter was finally going to do something right. I think that Carter failling again adds more humor to the book.

That was my favorite part of the book. It had a lot of humor, and I thought it was well written. It was hard for me to pick a favorite part of the book because I liked the enitre book, but this part was the funniest in my opinion.

Carter Finally Gets It 6

For this blog, I am going to review the book Carter Finally Gets It. It is a book unlike any other. It has a lot of humor, an interesting story, and great characters. I'm sure anyone could find something to like in this book, especially anyone in highshool. So here is my review.

The first thing you will notice in this book is that it is hilarious. The humor starts from the very beginning and continues throughout the entire book. I have never read a book as funny as this one. It also has a good story. I never lost interest during this book, mostly because the story was so funny. It has a main theme of surviving highschool, so I think anyone can relate to that. Finally the characters are great. Carter is an awkward highschool boy, and it makes the story hilarious. You never really know what kind of trouble he is going to get in next. Overall there wasn't much wrong with this book.

Carter Finally Gets It was an excellent book that I would highly recommend. It has a good story, and characters that are easy to relate to. It is manages to stay funny for the entire book. If you are someone who wants to read a fun book, look no further than Carter Finally Gets It.

Carter Finally Gets It 5

The more that I think about it, the more I realize how unique this book is. Carter finally gets it is unlike any other book I have ever read. Its easy to see that this book was written for teenagers, but as I said earlier, anyone could enjoy it. It is so unique because it stays funny throughout the entire book and it does not try to be like every other book.

A lot of books that I read have a main character who is the star of his sports team. He leads his team to the championship and becomes a hero. In Carter Finally Gets it, Carter is not a hero. In fact he ends up losing a state championship for his team. I think that it was a nice change of pace to read Carter Finally gets it, because it was very unpredictable. It also managed to stay funny throughout the entire book. I think this is the first book where I lauged consistently for the whole book. It was really unique and fun to read. Those were two more reasons why this book is so awesome.

Carter Finally gets it is unlike anybook you have ever read. Carter does not win state for his team, or save the day, he doesn't go on a huge adventure or discover something new, he just lives through highschool, and it is hilarious. I didn't know what to expect when I first started reading this book, but I am glad that I did. The whole book was fresh and it is going to be hard for other books to compete with this book in humor.

Carter Finally Gets It 4

For this blog, I am going to talk about the things I didn't like in the book. I liked almost everything in this book, however there were a few things that bugged me in Carter Finally gets it. First of all, it seems like nothing good happens to Carter. I also didn't like how the book ended. Those are just two small complaints in an overall great book.

Almost nothing goes right for Carter in this book. Every time where it seems like Carter is going to succeed, he somehow fails. I thought that is was funny at first, but by the end of the book I found myself wishing for Carter to win at something. For example, Carter gets moved up to the varsity swim team. I thought that this was going to be really good for Carter and that he would be the hero at state, but no. Carter false starts and gets his entire team disqualified. I aslo didn't like the end of the book. It ended as kind of a cliff hanger. Either Carter ended up with Abby and they had a great time at a party, or he messed up and they didn't get to ever go to the party. I would have liked to know what happended instead of having to imagine which one actually happended.

Those were just two small complaints about the book. They didn't stop me from liking the book. I would still reccomend this book to anyone. Those are basically the only two things I didn't like about this book. It was funny, and had a good pace, and only two very small problems.

Carter Finally Gets It 3

I would reccomend this book to everyone to read, because I think that anyone could find something to like in this book. I think that it would be funny for even adults, because it would bring back memories from their highschool experiance. For me, it was really fun to read.

I think that even adults would like this book. Carter does a lot of things that almost anyone could relate to. I think a lot of people are like Carter, and tried out for a sport at their highschool. But Carter didn't only play sports. Another way people can relate to Carter is with having trouble in school sometimes. Everyone spaces out in class every now and then, probably not as much as Carter though. Carter also did a school play. He had so much variety in his freshmen year that I think anyone could find something similar to Carter.

That is why I think this book is so good. It had a lot of variety and it didn't focus on only one aspect of highschool. There was school, sports, plays, parties and much more. It was funny throughout the entire book as well. I can't see anyone not liking this book, unless they have no sense of humor at all.

Carter Finally Gets It 2

In Carter finally gets it, the main character Carter goes through a lot of the same problem other high school boys go through. I think that he is really easy to relate to. Throughout the book, Carter has a lot of different problems with school, sports, and girls. Sometimes its painful to keep reading, because everything is going wrong for Carter, but it's so funny that you have to keep reading. Those are two reasons why I liked reading this book so much.

I think that any high school boy could relate to Carter in some way. For example, Carter plays a lot of sports which is something I can relate to. Just like Carter, there are some days where I can not stand going to practice, but still go. Carter also experiances some of the harder things of playing sports, like getting cut from a team all of your friends made. This has also happened to me, but like Carter, I found something else to do, and had a lot of fun with it. Another thing I think boys could relate to Carter with is talking to the girl they like. Sometimes it can be hard to start a conversation with the girl you like. In the book, it is funny, because Carter starts to stutter whenever he talks to girls. That was a big reason why I liked this book, because Carter is so easy to relate to.

I really enjoyed reading Carter, and there wasn't very many moments in the book where I didn't like what was happening. Everything moved quickly, and everything was really funny. I think the author really understood the humor of high schoolers. I hope that I can find other books by this author becuase I enjoyed Carter finally gets it so much. I hope that I can convince others to read this book too.

Carter finally gets it

Carter finally gets it is probably one of the funniest books I have ever read. I'm not very far into the book yet, but I have loved every part of it so far. It seems like nothing can go right for Carter, but it still stays unpredictable. It is hard for me to stop reading this book because it is so funny, and I really like the story.

I would definetley reccomend this book to anyone. I think that anyone could find some humor in this book, even if you're not a teen. I can kind of relate to this book, because Carter is just starting high school, which was the same for me this year. Carter's perspective on things is always hirlarious. You almost have to feel bad for Carter because it seems like nothing can go right for him, but its too funny not to laugh at Carter's expense. This is one of very few books that has made me want to quit doing other activities in order to keep reading.

Carter finally gets it is insanely funny, and one of the best books I have ever read. I think that every teenager could relate to Carter in some way, and that everyone could find something they like about this book. I would highly reccomend this book.

Monster 5

Now that I have finished monster, I have had some time to think about it. I have thought more about the story and the characters. I still really like the book, and I would still reccomend it. I have had more time to think about they way the story was told, and I think that it was really cool.
Having the story told like a movie showed a lot of things that you wouldn't see in a normal book. Because its a script, you don't see what the main character is thinking at all times. You also don't have a narrator, so its totally different than any other book. I really enjoyed this part of the book, and it is one of the main reasons why I would reccomend this book. In my opinion, it made it a lot easier to read. I also liked how the story was about a teenager, because I thought it was easy to relate to the main character. In the story, Steve was under peer pressusre to help with a robbery, and he was intimidated by the older kids in his neighborhood. I know what its like to be in peer pressure, and I also know how it feels to be bossed around by older people. Those are the main reasons why I really liked this book.
There weren't many things I didn't like about this book. It wasn't like anything I had ever read, and I liked how everything was new to me. I would tell anyone who wanted to read a good book about Monster. Its easy to read, has a good story, and is unique. What's not to love?

Monster 4

I finally finished the book Monster, and I really liked the ending. I thought that it was going to be a book with a sad ending, because of the title of the book. I thought that Steve was going to be convicted and was going to be stuck in prison for the rest of his life. I would have been really angry becuase Steve was a good kid, and he was being taken advantage of by criminals.

The book ended with Steve being let free, which I thought was a really good ending. It showed that the jury wasn't being biased because Steve was a different race. I was really angry that the state was trying to use criminals to try and make Steve seem guilty. I really like how the book ended, becuase we get to see it through the perspective of Steve's movie again. I could really imagine watching the end of a movie. "cut to: the guards who were standing behind Steve move away from him. He has been found not guilty." (Myers 276) Even though you don't hear what Steve was thinking, we can see how he reacted, and I think that was a really good way to end the book.

That is why I really like the book Monster. I really like the ending, and I thought that the book had an overall good story. I never wanted to stop reading becuase I was bored. The story was pretty quick, and it was really easy to read. I think I might try to find other books by Walter Myers, and if anyone hasn't read monster yet, I would highly reccomend it.

Monster 3

I am still really enjoying the book monster. I really want to know how it ends, because I think it could go either way. I would highly suggest this book to any of my friends who want a pretty quick read. It has a lot of things that I really like. It is easy to read, it has a good story, and it is different than other books.

If any of my friends ask if I know any good books, I will probably tell them to read this book. I really like how it is written in movie script. It makes it really easy to read, and we get to know the main character Steve more because it is how he sees the movie. I also really like the story, and think others would too. It's about a court case, and Steve could end up in jail for a long time if he doesn't win. It's pretty intense. Finally, I would reccoment this book because it is different from any other book I have ever read. I feel like I really know Steve, because I constently see what he is seeing because the "movie" is how he saw everything. Also, in his notes, you get to see what he was thinking at that time. "The window was screened and I knew he couldn't see me, but I raised my hand anyway and waved to him. I wanted to tell Jerry that I loved him." This quote makes me sad because Steve in in jail and can't be with his family, even though he is innocent.

Those are the main reasons why I would reccoment this book to my friends. I hope that Steve is found innocent at the end of the book. It would make me pretty mad if he was found guilty, but I think that he will probably be found innocent. I also like all of the lawyer parts because I think its pretty interesting and we did stuff like that last year in government class.

Monster 2

So far I really like the book Monster, but there are some parts of the book that make me kind of angry. I don't like how the government is making deals with the criminals to get other people in jail. It doesn't seem fair to me, because the criminals are obviously going to lie to get a lesser sentence. It's just putting innocent people in jail, and that kind of makes me angry.

I think the book is really well writtetn, and I keep wanting to read more even though it kind of makes me angry. Its not an anger that makes me want to stop reading though, it just makes me hope that Steve, the main character in the book, is innocent in the end. I hope that all of the criminals that have been testifying against Steve are exposed as liars. I hate how Steve is innocent, but getting testified agaisnt just because there are people who want to keep themselves out of jail. It just isn't fair.

That is how I feel about this book so far. I really do like it, and it shows events that actually do happen in real life. This is something I think is really interesting, it just makes me kind of angry. I hope that the book stays as interesting, because its been really easy to get into.

Monster

So far, I have really liked the book monster. I wasn't really sure if I was going to like it, because I thought that it was kind of weird that it was written in movie script. I thought that it would be hard to follow, and that we wouldn't get to know the characters as well as if it were a normal book. I haven't read a lot of the book yet, but so far it has been really easy to understand, and you can easily relate to the main character. I really like the plot of the book and I want to keep reading to find out what happens.

I feel bad for the main character, because he's in prison for a crime he didn't do. Because the book is written in movie script, we usually don't get to see what he was thinking. However, there are some parts of the book where its in handwriting, and these parts are all about what's happening to him and what he's thinking. I really like these parts because its when I feel the closest to the main character. I like being able to see what he's thinking and I think that its really cool how the author put these parts into the book. I hope there are more of these parts as the book continues.

I have really liked this book so far and I'm excited to keep reading. I almost didn't choose this book becuase of how it was written, but I'm glad that I did. It's not like any other book that I've read before, and I think that it is really cool. I really want to find out how it ends.

Night

"We continued to walk until we came to a crossroads. Standing in the middle of it was, though I didn't know it then, Dr. Mengele, the notorious Dr. Mengele. He looked like the typical SS officer: a cruel, though not unintelligent, face, complete with monocle." (31)
This quote is sad to me, becuase I think it would be really hard to be seperated from my family like he was. I have also heard about Dr. Mengele in history classes, and I think it is really sad to think that he got to choose who lived and who died. Because of him, thousands of people were burned just because he didn't think that they were strong enough. It's hard to believe someone had that kind of power. I also want to know what happened to his sister and his mother, because the book didn't say what happened to them.
